Reiki I - First Degree:
In this degree,
four attunements are given to each student. These attunements activate and
align important energy centers in the body, allowing in this way an increase of
healing energy to be channeled. They works on all levels (physical,
emotional, mental and spiritual), but fundamentally on the physical and
emotional ones. In this degree, students are instructed to work with this
energy, are taught how to do a self-treatment and how to treat others, practice
different exercises to familiarize themselves with energy and how to treat
animals and plants.
This is a 4 session seminar,
roughly three to four hours each session. You will receive the
technique and instruction to work with it. The practice, the development and the
experience begins. If you learn Reiki...use it !
It is recommended that a minimum of
three months of practice are required before you take the second degree to allow
for the integration of this higher vibration of energy into your body.
Reiki Level I - $200.00, four
to five sessions
(15-16 hours total) that include:
 Reiki
I attunement to gently open the student to channel the energy;
History
and explanation of Reiki energy;
Learning
how to Open and Close the Energy Centers;
The
chakra system and how to test;
Using
basic Kinesiology (muscle) testing;
Basic
hand positions and practice sessions for self treatment;
Basic
hand positions and practice sessions for treatment of others;
Discussion
of how Reiki accelerates personal growth and transformation.

Reiki II - Second Degree:
In this degree, students are receiving an
additional attunement which allows the use of techniques given in this level and
also instruction on how to perform absentee healing which will allow them to
work on far away subjects (no matter the distance). It deeply works on the
emotional and mental bodies. The energy flow is expanded and higher than
the one experienced in the first degree.
Reiki Level II - a $250.00, one-day
workshop that includes:
(Exact length of workshop is dependant upon student's background...more time
will be taken to review Reiki I teachings, if needed.)
Review
of Reiki I teachings & techniques;
Reiki
II attunement;
Use
of traditional Second degree symbols;
Practice
giving more powerful accelerated sessions;
Distance
healing techniques.
Reiki III - Third Degree: (Master/Teacher level )
This level is only recommended to students who
want to teach this method to others.
It is required to have been practicing levels I
and II for one full year, working on themselves and others and
experienced healing in all bodies.
Reiki III it is NOT just a weekend seminar.
It’s a personal training and commitment that takes about a year (prior to
teaching); a personal relationship between the Master and the student and a
respect to the original Usui technique.
Reiki Master Level III - a $700.00,
two-day workshop that includes:
Reiki
III (Reiki Master) attunement ;
The
Usui Master symbol;
Tibetan
Reiki symbols;
Hands-on
practice;
Use
of crystals, color, and breath to increase healing;
How
to attune others to all levels of Reiki;
Teaching
techniques.

Personal Note from Nancy:
A very important thing for me during the Reiki
training is the fact that it be held in a relaxed surrounding and in an
atmosphere of love, closeness and acceptance among the students, while still
having fun. My goal is to answer every question, without judgment, no
matter how "silly, funny, or strange" a question might seem. This is not a
mystery nor a miracle nor a religious belief but rather a wonderful healing
method and easy learning experience.
I believe that it's also important to have lots
of hands-on experiences and practice in order to feel comfortable and to
continue with what you learn in class. Every workshop (Levels I, II, and
III) allows for ample time to practice. Follow-on group practice sessions
(after the workshop) are also available.

Couples Massage Workshop
What a great
way for you and your partner to spend time, learn and enjoy more about each
other!

Everyone loves
to receive massage, why not learn how to make them all happy? Have you ever
been intrigued with the art of massage and its healing powers? Well, now is
your chance to learn from the best. Balanced Energy professionals offer a
wealth of knowledge at an unbelievable price.
All
participants will learn the basic Swedish style massage techniques that relax
and relieve stress: effleurage, petrissage, friction and tapotement. A
professional massage educator will guide you through a full body sequence and
massage for common ailments. After demonstrating the techniques, they will
assist you with the proper body mechanics of giving a massage and the finer
points of each stoke and answer any questions. You will come away feeling like
a pro!
Each couple draws on aspects that work best
with their individual needs and experiences in a warm and supportive
atmosphere. Come and experience the Self Within and the Self Within your
partner in a safe and nurturing environment. Learn therapeutic techniques to
relieve your loved one's stress, guidelines for giving and receiving, and
deepening your connection and communication through touch.
Balanced
Energy
has come up with the inspired idea of teaching non-bodywork pros how to
administer a truly wonderful massage. Our Full Body Swedish Massage Workshop is
tailored for couples, romantic or otherwise. So you can pair up with either your
honey or a friend and then set to work kneading out each other's kinks under
expert tutelage.

The class is
limited to two couples at a time so that your instructor can grant you lots of
attention. Extra towels and massage cream/oils are all provided. At the
end of the session, participants get to take home an instruction booklet and
massage CD.
We will begin by focusing on the head, scalp, face, and neck. Please avoid
wearing make up, hair products, or perfume. Please wear comfortable clothing
and bring a pillow and a blanket or cushioned mat.
We will
continue by learning how to give your partner a full body Swedish massage. We
will finish by focusing on the shoulders, back, arms, hands, legs, and feet.
Minimum age is 18. Balanced Energy welcomes both men and women. As the
workshop covers general massage only, it is not suitable for pregnant women. No
massage experience necessary.
Our
workshops are educational experiences, and are not to be mistaken for long-term
therapy or cure. Some people may find some programs to be too psychologically
or physically challenging. We recommend that in case of any doubt, a physician
or trusted counselor be consulted.
Please wear a bathing suit under some loose fitting, comfortable clothes. You
may also want to bring a robe. Remember to bring a pillow and a blanket and/or
a cushioned mat.
This experience is available for booking on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays and
runs approximately from 10:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. with an hour break for
lunch. Up to two couples will be allowed in the workshop to ensure plenty
of one-on-one time with the instructor. The class will be scheduled at the
Addison location (One Hanover Park, 16633 North Dallas Tollway, Suite 600,
Addison, TX 75001).
The
Introductory massage workshop is $300 per couple. Please call or email to

These classes are designed for couples, but other
pairs of friends or groups are always
welcome.
Payment & Cancellation Policy:
All workshops must be paid in
full two weeks prior to start of course. Payment may be made via check or VISA/Mastercard.

Nancy Caponi
has been a practicing therapeutic massage and holistic health therapist for
eleven years in Dallas, Texas. She is a licensed Massage therapist, a certified
Neuromuscular Therapist, and a Reiki Master/Teacher and has studied several
body-mind modalities. Nancy teaches a variety of massage courses and healing art
classes and continues with her private practice in Double Oak and Addison, TX.
She is the owner and founder of Balanced Energy and a graduate of the Sterling
Health Center in Addison, TX. Nancy has additional training in deep tissue,
Swedish, reflexology, prenatal, myofascial release, Cranio-sacral, lymphatic
drainage, and Shamanism. Nancy is also a proud member of the Associated
Bodywork & Massage Professionals organization
